Here at the Entertainment Department, we don't ask for much from our members, but what we do ask we expect them all to comply with. This helps create a healthy working atmosphere with projects and assignments being worked upon in a timely and efficient manner, thus creating a department that is working well and setting a great example. When you join the department, you are asked to ensure the following:
-
Before applying to the department, we ask you are AT LEAST CL3 in rank and that you are not on the ISA Troublemaker list. If you fail to meet these two criterion then your application will be denied instantly.
Members who are added to the ISA Troublemaker list while employed by the Entertainment department may be dismissed. We expect all members to abide by the Prime Directives. -
When you are accepted into the department, we ask that you show respect to your colleagues and workmates. While everyone appreciates feedback about their work, we do ask and expect that all feedback be constructive.
If you believe someone's work lacks something, or is wrong in areas, then please say so in a polite and constructive manner. Do not simply disrespect the work, and the member, by labeling it "rubbish", or any other such expletives. -
Every month, every member of the department must send in a monthly report to their superior officer detailing what work you have done over the past month. If you have had no assigned work, and hence nothing to report, then say so.
We at the department take reports extremely seriously: three consecutive failures to report, without good reason (ie: being on leave) may well result in dismissal -
When you need to take some time off, and wish to go on leave, do not just disappear. Inform your Division Leader and Team Leader that you wish to go on leave. 95% of the time there will be no problem, provided you inform these two officers and that you give a rough estimate of when you will return. When you are ready to return to duty, again, inform your Division Leader and Team Leader.
-
If you find yourself without assigned work, please bring this up with either your Division/Project Leader, or your Team Leader. They will attempt to find you an assignment to work on. Don't just sit around doing nothing for weeks on end.
This is all we ask of our members: that they work hard, actively seek new work once a job is completed; they inform their superiors of a leave of absence; that they report their work every month; and that they show respect to their colleagues. Following these points will lead to a long and happy career in the Entertainment Department. If you put in a little effort, then it will be noticed and you will be rewarded for your efforts.
Regards,
Entertainment Management
If you are a member of any other department at OTF, you must have permission from your Senior Manager before submitting this application.
