17 - Rosh Hashanah: Occurs on the first and second days of Tishri. In Hebrew, Rosh Hashanah means literally, "head of the year" or "first of the year." Rosh Hashanah is commonly known as the Jewish New Year. Rosh Hashanah is one of the holiest days of the jewish year.

22 - Mabon: Mabon is the Autumn Equinox. The Autumn Equinox divides the day and night equally, and we all take a moment to pay our respects to the impending dark.

25 - Yom Kippur: Yom Kippur is probably the most important holiday of the Jewish year. Many Jews who do not observe any other Jewish custom will refrain from work, fast or attend synagogue services on this day.

28 - Moon Festival: The Chinese and Taiwanese Moon Festival is on the 15th of the 8th lunar month, this year it falls on the 28th of september. It's also known as the Mid-autumn Festival. Chinese culture is deeply imbedded in traditional festivals. Just like Christmas and Thanksgiving in the West, the Moon Festival is one of the most important traditional events for the Chinese.

30 - Sukkot: The Festival of Sukkot begins on Tishri(a Jewish Calander Month) 15, the fifth day after Yom Kippur. Sukkot is one or the most joyous holidays in Jewdaism.
