The majority of the attendees to London Union
Year 7
August 2003 and the 3rd official union took place. And although attendence was lower than previous Unions the event was still a success with all attendees enjoying the event. The 2003 Anniversary Celebration also marked another momentous occasion in OTF history. Among the festivities the very first Admiral promotion was awarded to Henri. Due to his excellent work with the Version 2 update, along with all his other OTF related works, it was deemed an unquestionably deserved promotion.
A little time later, in April 2004, the newest addition to the Outpost family, Minas Tirith, was opened. With the void left once Alder Hill had moved, and the success of the Lord of The Ring's trilogy, Minas Tirith was the perfect choice to represent the Fantasy Genre at the Outpost. As the Outpost celebrated this event, the opening ceremonies also saw the promotion of three others to the rank of Admirals; Crazy Texan, Joshua Hal, & Sonata Form. However, after only two days of celebrating the events were cut short when OTF went down.
When OTF came back online the membership discovered that the Outpost's internet service provider had become bankrupt and had closed suddenly, and very unexpectedly. But the good news was that OTF was back!
More good news followed, at least for us here at Holidays, as the Holiday project became the Holiday Team.
From August 5th to 8th the official London Union was held. Approximatly 25 to 30 members turned up with it being praised as one of the best unions to date.
In early August, shortly before the Anniversary Celebrations, the Agents of Section 31 appeared. Under General Order 43, they began investigating the leadership and interviewing OTF's membership. However, when questions were raised about their true intentions and their presence at OTF (as well as their true identities) the Agents would give no comments. Eventually, the invasion resulted in a takeover of OTF by Section 31, which finally elevated to a stand-off and shootout between the two opposing sides at the 7th Anniversary Ceremony. The Agents' Leader, Brady Jelani, was apprehended and incarcerated in OTF's brig while the rest were chased off. OTF's membership had wrestled control from the invaders. But it was only a simm... nothing serious!!! No Agents were harmed in the making of this fun anniversary event.
