Baby Born On Tram (10-29-06)

In Warsaw, Poland today, A Sudanese woman gave birth on a tram in the middle of the city. "I was coming back from a meeting, then the pain came" she said. The baby girl, named Duha, attained instant celebrity status thanks to her mother's timing. The city council will debate on Thursday a proposal to award Duha free lifetime access to Warsaw's public transport.


New Fried Foods? (10-29-06)

That's Right! Fried Coke hits the markets soon!
Abel Gonzales, 36, a computer analyst from Dallas, has discovered a new recipe, a batter mix made with Coca-Cola syrup, a drizzle of strawberry syrup, and some strawberries. Balls of the batter are then deep-fried, ending up like ping-pong ball sized doughnuts which are then served in a cup, topped with Coca-Cola syrup, whipped cream, cinnamon sugar and a cherry on the top. Gonzales ran two stands at the State Fair of Texas and sold up to 35,000 fried Cokes over 24 days for $4.50 each!
